Starting Reception in September 2026

We are delighted to welcome our new Reception starters and their families to Kintbury St Mary’s CE Primary School. Starting school is a very special milestone, and we are excited to share this journey with you and your child. Our Early Years environment is a happy, nurturing and inspiring place where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to explore, discover and develop a love of learning.

Throughout the months leading up to September, we will support your child as they begin to get to know our school, meet members of our team and build relationships with their new friends. We have planned a number of transition opportunities, including our New Starters Information Evening, Stay & Play sessions and chances to visit their new classroom.

We believe that working closely with families helps children feel confident, happy and ready for this exciting new chapter. We look forward to welcoming you into our school community and creating wonderful memories together as your child begins their journey at Kintbury St Mary’s.
