While we endeavour to keep the school open under all circumstances, there are times when we may need to close or partially close the school to ensure our pupils’ and staff’s safety and well-being.
In the event of a complete or partial closure, parents and carers would ion the first instance receive a text from the school as early as possible, to advise the arrangements for the day onwards. 

The following local radios would also be advised of the closure:

• Reading 107FM (Jack FM)
• Heart FM
• BBC Radio Berkshire
• Newbury Breeze

The West Berkshire Council website will also be updated accordingly, as would the school’s own website.

The information provided will be updated regularly until normal operation has resumed.
